Mastering the Daily Diary: Tracking Habits and Biometrics

This guide helps Nutrogen administrators and users understand how to record daily inputs like caffeine and mood, view activity summaries, and use these insights to power Nutrogen’s AI coaching for a more personalized wellness experience.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Access the Daily Diary

To view the daily progress overview, tap the Daily Diary icon located in the main bottom navigation menu.

2. Review Performance Overviews

The "Overview" tab displays percentage-based rings for your core health pillars. This provides a quick snapshot of how you are performing in areas like Food, Activity, Sleep, Readiness, and Mental well-being.

3. Log Daily Habits

Scroll to the Daily Log section to record manual entries. For simple binary habits like "Added sugar," "Late meal," or "Screen in bed," use the checkmark or cross icons to log your behavior for the day.

4. Record Consumption (Alcohol and Caffeine)

To log specific substances:

  • Tap on Alcohol or Caffeine.

  • Select a "Quick Add" button for standard sizes (e.g., Wine, Espresso).

  • Alternatively, tap + Custom to enter a specific volume and time.

5. Set Tracking Intent

For consumption logs, you can adjust your "Tracking Intent." Choose Limit if you are trying to stay below a certain amount, or Target if you are aiming to reach a specific daily goal.

6. Update Subjective Wellness and Mood

Nutrogen tracks how you feel alongside your hard data.

  • Tap Daily Mood to select the emoji that best reflects your current state.

  • Use the sliders for Soreness, Readiness, Stress, and Anxiety to rate your levels from "Low/Drained" to "Extreme/Energized."

7. Monitor Synced Biometrics

Navigate to the Biometrics section to view automated data synced from your wearable devices. This section includes critical health markers such as Heart Rate Variability (HRV), Resting Heart Rate (RHR), Steps, and VO2 Max.

8. Review Activity and Stress Data

At the bottom of the diary, you can review detailed summaries of specific activities (like HIIT sessions) and monitor your physiological stress levels throughout the day as data is processed by the platform.
