This article explains how you can add new end users into the Nutrogen system. This is a crucial step in allowing Users to access the mobile app and web application.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Navigate to the User List: In the left main menu, click on the "Users" tab, then click on “Users List”. (Screenshot at 0:12 shows the location of the Users tab and Users List selection.)

  2. Add a New User: In the top-right corner of the Users List screen, click the "+ Add New User" button. (Screenshot at 0:15 shows the "Add New User" button.)

  3. Select User Type: Choose the "User" option to add a client user. (Screenshot at 0:39 shows the staff and user options.) Selecting this allows your client to use the apps for nutrition assistance.

  4. Select the Client’s Branch: Under “Clients & Branch” heading, use the "Select branch" dropdown to select the branch/location this user is associated with. Every end user must be linked to a specific branch. (Screenshot at 0:50 shows dropdown menu.)

  5. Enter Basic User Information: Under "Basic Information", fill in the user's details:

    • Profile Photo (Optional): Upload a profile photo if desired.

    • First Name

    • Last Name

    • Contact Number

    • Email Address

    • Joining Date

    • Date of Birth

    • Gender (Screenshot examples between 1:02 and 1:06. All fields are self-explanatory.)

  6. Enter Address Details: Provide the client’s address information, selecting the appropriate country, state, city, zip code, and time zone. (Screenshot between 1:08 to 1:12)

  7. Set Password Options: Under the "Password" section, choose how the user will set their password:

    • Option 1: Create a Password for Them: Enter a password and re-enter to confirm. Note the criteria for complexity must include 8 characters, an uppercase, a lowercase, and a number.

    • Option 2: Allow User to Set Password on First Login: Toggle "Allow user to set password on first login" to the ON position. (Screenshot at 1:22 shows the toggle.) With this selected a temporary password will be sent to the client for their first login. (Toggle in Screenshot at 1:44)

  8. Continue to Measurements & Meals: Click the “Continue” button to move to Step 2, Measurements and Meals.

  9. Enter or Skip Measurements and Meals Data:

    • Option 1: Allow Client to Onboard and Add their own Measurements & Meals If you don’t know the users information or are having them onboard themself, use the toggle at the top of the screen labeled "Allow User to Complete this Step During their Onboarding" and set to ON. (Toggle in Screenshot at 2:05)

    • Option 2: Pre-populate measurements for clients. Use the measurements to populate any data of the user, including: Unit Measurements, Weight, Height, Goal, Meals Per Day, Meal Plan Preference. If this is the case, move to Step 10 and complete the process. (Screenshot Between 2:06-2:48)

  10. Select a Package: Click the “Continue” button to move to Step 3, Select Packages.

  11. Select Package or Skip Package plan: Choose which subscription the user will be using by selecting the appropriate option. (Screenshot at 3:09)

  • Option 1: Skip Package Plan: Set the toggle to ON. Upon logging in, your client will be prompted to choose their own package.

  • Option 2: Pre-select Package Plan: Set the toggle to OFF. Then, select the appropriate subscription package.

  1. Finalize User Creation: Click “Continue”

  2. Review and Add User: Review all the information to be added, if correct, Click “Add User” at the bottom of the page. (Screenshot at 3:43 Shows example User Profile Review.)

  3. Confirm: You'll see a confirmation message that the user has been added. Click "Done." The user will be taken back to the Users List page. (Screenshot at 3:49 Confirms User was Created.) The user's status will be inactive (until they login and confirm the subscription, see screenshot at 4:23), and the Nutrition team at Nutrogen will not charge you the user rate until they have started using the software with a valid subscription.
