Differentiating Custom Meal Plans and Dietician Meal Plans (Meal Plan's Category)

This article provides information on the differences between custom meal plans vs dietician plans

Updated over a month ago

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Access the Meal Plans Section:

    • Log in to the Nutrogen platform.

    • Navigate to the "Nutrition" section in the left-hand menu.

    • Select "Meal Plans" (Screenshot at 0:01-0:07 shows the navigation to the meal plans).

  2. Understanding Meal Plan Categories:

    • Dietitian Meal Plans: This are pre-built meal plans verified by nutrition professionals that are included on your system, ready to use for meal plans (screenshot 0:08). If you would like to create a custom meal plan and have it verified in the ‘Dietician meal plan category’ please contact the Nutrogen support to request.

    • Custom Meal Plans: These meal plans can be made and/or edited by staff with the proper permissions (screenshot 0:25). If a staff member/user didn’t make that meal plan, then the only options will be to “save a copy” (screenshot 0:39).

There are no changes in the functionality that occur in either of these types of meal plans. The only difference is how these meal plans are curated and for your users to select and be assured of their accuracy.
