How to Understand Recipe Categories in Nutrogen

This article provides an overview of the different recipe categories available within the Nutrogen platform

Nutrogen organizes recipes into three main categories to help you manage content and control access for your branches and users. These categories are:

  • Custom Recipes: (Screenshot at 0:01 and 0:55 Shows Custom Recipes Selection).

    • These recipes are created by you, one of your branches, or, if permissions are granted, your end-users/members/clients.

    • They are only visible within your group of branches and users. (1:10- 1:15)

  • Dietitian Approved Recipes: (Screenshot at 0:11 shows Dietician Approved Selection).

    • These are recipes that have been carefully crafted and approved by Nutrogen dieticians and used in Nutrogen meal plans. (0:16). This provides nutritional verification, (2:21).

    • Recipes in this category are created and managed by Nutrogen. As such are only available for Nutrogen to move the Custom Recipes into this option. (0:35).

  • Online Recipes: (Screenshot at 0:12 Shows Online Recipe Selection).

    • This category provides a large volume of recipes sourced from external online databases. (0:36).

    • Adding filters helps the end user experience with searching for recipes in the Recipe section. (1:52).

Nutrogen allows you to turn ON or OFF for your branches or end users. As such are not in the Custom Recipe sections. (1:29).
