Step-by-Step Guide:
Navigate to the Recipes Section: From the main menu, go to Nutrition > Recipes. (Screenshot at 0:00 shows the Recipes screen).
Browse Recipes: Navigate to the tab containing the recipe you wish to copy: "Dietitian Approved Recipes" or "Online Recipes". (Custom Recipes can be copied as well, but this guide assumes copying from the non-editable sources.)
Open Recipe Details: Click on the specific recipe you want to copy. This opens the "Recipe Details" window. (Screenshot at 0:17 shows the edit recipe option).
Click "Edit Recipe": In the Recipe Details window, click on “Edit Recipe”. (Screenshot at 0:17 show Edit Recipe prompt) This will open the same view as “Create Recipe”.
Make Your Changes (Optional): Modify any aspects of the recipe, such as ingredients, quantities, cooking steps, or labels. Remember, you cannot directly edit the original recipe.
Save a Copy: After making your desired modifications, scroll down to the bottom of the “Recipe Creation”/“Edit Recipe” view.
Click the "Save a Copy" button. (Screenshot at 2:53 shows the “Save a Copy” button). Only users cannot change or edit can select this option to ensure the integrity of the Nutrogen build dietitian approved recipes .
Name Your Copy: In the “Save a Copy” popup (Screenshot at 2:59) change recipe title in popup and Click “Save Recipe”:
Recipe Saved: View your new Custom Recipes Tab. (Screenshot at 3:10 Shows where you select view done and back to custom). The updated Recipe Copy will now be placed here.
