Configure Your Meal Plan
Quick Mode condenses the meal plan creation process into a single page. Follow these steps to set up your plan:
Set Daily Calorie Goals: In the first field, enter the total number of calories the meal plan should average per day. For example, enter "2500". (Screenshot at 0:18).
Define Meal Plan Duration and Frequency:
Meal Plan Duration: Enter the number of days the plan should last (e.g., "7" for a one-week plan). (Screenshot at 0:22).
Meals Per Day: Select the number of meals to include each day. It is recommended to choose 3-5 meals for higher-calorie plans to ensure a better variety of recipes. (Screenshot at 0:42).
Set a Goal (Optional): You can select a goal like "Lose Fat" or "Muscle Gain." If you choose a goal, the system will automatically calculate and fill in the recommended macronutrient breakdown for you. (Screenshot at 0:49).
Define Daily Macronutrient Breakdown:
If you did not select a goal, you will need to manually enter the macronutrient targets. You can enter these values in either grams or as a percentage.
For this example, we will use percentage. Enter your desired percentage for Protein, Carbohydrates, and Fat (e.g., 33%, 33%, 34%). The system will automatically calculate the equivalent gram amount for you. (Screenshot at 1:11).
Add Health & Allergies (Optional):
You can select up to three health filters or allergies (e.g., Vegan, Peanut Free) to exclude certain recipes from the meal plan. (Screenshot at 1:23).
Generate the Meal Plan:
Once all your preferences are set, click the Generate Meal Plan button at the bottom of the page. The AI will then create a 7-day plan with recipes that match your specified criteria. (Screenshot at 1:35).
Review and Save:
After generation, you can review each day of the meal plan. The system is designed to reuse some recipes to make meal prepping easier for the end-user. (Screenshot at 1:52).
If you are satisfied, click Save Meal Plan to add it to your library. You can then edit it further or assign it to users. (Screenshot at 2:41).
