Navigating to Challenges
To manage challenges, log in to the Nutrogen platform and navigate to the Gamification section in the left-hand menu, then select Challenges. (Screenshot at 0:08 shows the menu path).
Creating an End-User Challenge
End-user challenges are designed to encourage individual users to hit specific wellness and nutrition goals.
Click the New Challenge button. (Screenshot at 0:31 shows the button to click).
Basics: Select a challenge template or start from scratch. Enter a Challenge Name, choose the Length (ranging from 1 to 12 weeks or custom), and select a Scoring Method (Cumulative Points, Task Completion, Longest Streak, or Consistency Score).
Components: Select a Pillar (Wellness, Nutrition, Activity, Sleep, or Readiness) and choose specific tasks (e.g., "Daily Weigh-in"). (Visual at 1:24 shows task selection).
Adjust the required frequency, such as a specific number of times per week or a percentage of days.
Visibility: Decide if the challenge should be visible to all branches, hidden, or limited to specific branches under your organization.
Click Launch Challenge.
Creating a Branch-vs-Branch Competition
Branch competitions allow individual branches within your organization to compete against one another based on the collective performance of their members.
Click the Branch Competition button. (Screenshot at 2:05 shows the button to click).
Basics: Enter the competition name and length.
Tasks: Choose the pillars and specific tasks that will count toward the branch's score.
Ranking & Rewards: Select how branches will be ranked:
Sum of end-user points: Favors larger branches with more members.
Average points per active user: The "fairness option" where branch size doesn't automatically determine the winner.
Participation rate: Based on the percentage of users completing targets.
Select Who gets rewarded (Top Branch, Top 3, or all branches hitting a target) and click Create Competition. (Visual at 2:40).
Challenge Management & Enrollment
The Challenge Management tab (Visual at 2:59) allows you to view and edit System Challenges, Custom Challenges, and those created by individual branches.
To Assign a Challenge to Users:
Navigate to the Challenge Management tab.
Click the More button on the specific challenge card.
Select Assign to User. (Screenshot at 3:39 shows the menu option).
Search for specific users or use the "Select all" feature to enroll your entire user base or specific packages into the challenge.
Click Assign to Selected Users to begin the challenge for those individuals. (Visual at 4:03).
Monitoring Participation
Use the Challenge Overview dashboard to track real-time analytics, including:
Active Challenges: Total number of live competitions.
Avg Completion: How far users are progressing on average.
Participation Trends: A visual graph of user engagement over time.
Activity Heatmap: Identifies peak days and times when users are most active with their challenges. (Visual at 0:18).
