How to Set Up and Manage Branch Battles

This article explains how Nutrogen administrators can create and manage "Branch Battles"—competitions between different branch locations designed to boost team spirit and user engagement across your organization.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Access the Battles Dashboard: Log in to the Nutrogen platform. In the left-hand menu, navigate to Gamification and select Battles.

  2. Toggle to Branch Battles: At the top of the Battles page, switch the toggle from "End-User Battles" to Branch Battles. (Screenshot at 0:02 shows the toggle location).

  3. Review the Battle Overview: The Battle Overview tab provides a snapshot of active, live, and upcoming battles. It also displays the Top Multiplier—a reward applied to every end-user at a winning branch. (Visual at 0:41).

  4. Manage Battle Assignments: Click the Battle Management tab to see available challenges.

  5. View Participation or Assign Branches: On a specific battle card, click the More button to (Visual at 0:54):

    • View Participations: See which branches are currently active, scheduled, or have completed the battle. (Visual at 0:56).

    • Assign Branches: Manually select which branches will compete in the battle and set a specific start date. (Visual at 1:07).

  6. Create a New Branch Battle: To design a custom competition, click the New Branch Battle button. (Screenshot at 1:13 shows the button to click). Follow the setup wizard to define the competition criteria and point multipliers.

  7. Monitor Branch Standings: Scroll down to the Branch Standings section on the Overview page to see a ranked list of branches based on their current performance. (Visual at 1:21).

  8. Launch a Live Display: To broadcast the branch competition to a TV or monitor in your facility:

    • Navigate to the Leaderboards section.

    • Click the Live Display button. (Visual at 1:26).

    • Select Branch Battles from the options.

    • Choose your orientation (Landscape or Portrait) and click Launch Display to show real-time rankings and team activity. (Visual at 1:30).

Note: Unlike end-user battles where users wager their own points, Branch Battles typically award "Multipliers" to all members of the winning branch, making it a powerful tool for driving collective engagement.
