Step-by-Step Guide:
Navigate to the Users List: From the Nutrogen dashboard, go to the "Users" section in the left-hand navigation menu, and then click "Users List" (0:05). Ensure that you are on the "Users" tab.
Find the User: Use the search, filter, and sort functions to locate the user whose password you want to change or reset.
Open User Profile: Click on the "Profile" icon (person icon) located on the right side of the user's row in the list (0:14). This will open the end user's profile.
Scroll to Password Options: On the "Profile Information" tab (0:24), scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the "Change Password?" and "Reset Password?" options.
Choose Your Method: You have two options:
Change Password (Manually): Toggle the "Change Password?" switch to on (0:29). This will allow you to enter a new password directly. Important: If you use this method, you must communicate the new password to the end-user as this is the password they will now use to log in immediately after saving the changes.
Reset Password (Email): Click the "Reset Password" button (0:34). This will send an email to the end-user with instructions on how to reset their password themselves.
Save Changes: After changing or resetting the password, click the "Save Changes" button (1:02).
Important Notes:
By changing the password manually and entering a new password, you will need to communicate that new password to the end user, because they will lose access and that will become their new password instantly after saving the changes.
If you choose to reset the password, the end-user will receive an email with instructions to complete the password reset process.
