Step-by-Step Guide:
From the Daily Summary dashboard, tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen to open the logging menu.
Select the AI Log option to begin. (Screenshot at 0:05 shows the AI Log button).
You will land on the AI Fast Logging page, which provides three methods for tracking your food.
A) Scan Food (Default Camera Option)
This method allows you to log a meal simply by taking a picture of it.
Center your meal in the camera view and tap the Scan Food button. (Screenshot at 0:20 shows the Scan Food button).
The AI will analyze the image, identify the different food items, and log them as either individual ingredients or existing recipes from the Nutrogen database.
Note: This is the most convenient method. For meals with very specific ingredients, using the Voice or Text option may provide higher accuracy.
B) Voice Logging
Tap the Voice icon in the bottom menu. (Screenshot at 0:32 shows the Voice option).
Press the microphone icon to speak and describe your meal in natural language (e.g., "I had an iced latte and a croissant for breakfast").
The AI will process your description and match the items to the verified food database to ensure the nutritional information is as accurate as possible.
C) Text Logging
Tap the Text icon in the bottom menu. (Screenshot at 1:11 shows the Text option).
In the provided field, type out the details of your meal.
Tap the Analyze button for the system to process your entry and add it to your log.
After the AI processes your entry (from any of the three methods), the items are added to your daily diary. The system is smart enough to distinguish between simple ingredients (like bacon) and full recipes (like Avocado Toast) to provide a detailed and accurate summary. (Screenshot at 2:03 shows an example of a meal broken down into its specific components after an AI scan).
The system also learns from your entries. When multiple ingredients are detected together, it can automatically create a new recipe, making it even easier to log that meal in the future. (Screenshot at 2:56 shows recipes in the "Recently Used" section that were identified and logged by the AI).
