Steps to Filter and Sort Ingredients:
Navigate to Food Databases: From the Nutrogen dashboard, go to the "Nutrition" section in the left-hand navigation menu, and then click "Food Databases" (0:18).
Applying Filters and Sorts:
Start by clicking on the "filters" button in the upper right hand corner.
Select and apply all relevant search criteria for the ingredients, by using the pull down menus to select:.
-Food Type
-Calories per 100g/ml
-Protein per 100g/ml
-Health and Allergy
Click "Show Results" to view filtered list.
After applying filters as needed, there are multiple options for the best search results for what you are after. If a new filter needs to be selected, click again the filter button, to change the above selections as needed.
From the filter result menu you can sort by: (0:56)
-A-Z, Z-A
-calories (low to high or high to low)
-protein (low to high or high to low)
- fats (low to high or high to low)
These sort features allow administrators to more quickly view what ingredient is best for the end users needs, such as finding only healthy meats.
To view all applied filters on the list, refer to the active filters at the top of the food list to see what actions have been applied.
Important Notes: Note that filters and sorts can be applied in any order, to find just the result you're after and make sure to click “Clear all,” when you would like to restart your search. (1:45)
